TOGETHER

We had a great Hilton Head vacation over Spring Break! We were lucky enough to have a house in a perfect location. We stayed at 4 Dinghy in Palmetto Dunes and we will defiantly be heading back next year! The location was perfect and we could not have asked for a more accommodating experience with Luann the owner, she did everything to make our stay enjoyable! We took so many pictures at her beach home one night, just trying to get a good shot. We are just not a photogenic group...but they are great memories! The kids loved playing on the beach, of course. and I really could get used to running on the beach each AM. We had a pool at the house as well which was a great convenience. The kids loved it! Jesse had a blast just jumping in, she had no fear which was no surprise. She was swimming to the side in not time and getting out by the steps and jumping right back in. My kids are like fish...they love the water. Wyatt of course drinks too much water when he is in the pool... (sorry Luan...

i miss my friend so much...i miss joel. i think about him and my whole body feels weighted down with grief, like i am paralyzed. it goes in waves and this most recent wave just sucks. it started towards the end of vacation, i was on the beach in the evening, i remember the exact moment the grief came on and since then i cant seem to shake it. I go back and read his obituary often as sometimes i feel like it didn't really happen, he didn't really die. Sometimes i can still feel the feeling of holding his hand that last day of his life and how strong his hands still were and how dry his skin was .i can feel the exact spot on my hand where he was squeezing my hand. i often question my friendship with him and wonder of i imagined it all & don't know if he knew how much i loved him and depended on him. i just miss joel so much.

We are back from an amazing vacation on Hilton Head Island. WoW did we have fun, we stayed in a great house that was right by the ocean literally less then 500 feet how great to sit outside in the pool but hear waves crashing in the background. Once I get all the pics uploaded and the new blog look i will post the details. For now... laundry grocery clean out car run homework kids ready for school tomorrow HAPPY EASTER!

yep, I am the worst blogger ever! But really that is all about to change. Leaving for vacation tomorrow, when I come back & maybe while on vacation I am going to become a blogger again. It was my goal for this year, I cannot fail!

Friday & Saturday were just great days! I love that, lots accomplished and lots of fun. I had taken Friday off work to spend some QT with Grace. She was off school so it was a great day for us to hang out, and that we did. We dropped the other kids off at school and then had breakfast together, ran a few errands and then headed off to Boston Mills for a day of skiing. Grace was great, she took 1 lesson with a great instructor and when I returned she was going up the chair lift and down the hill! It was so COOL, I was nervous about this because I knew she wanted to like it but was not so sure how it would go. When I left her with the instructor it was odd, just leaving your child with some random stranger that you knew nothing about. I got to have a few runs in that hour, well several seeing how it was Boston Mills but the snow was great and I really had a peaceful time. After Grace was done we spent the next 4 hours just skiing, she was a trooper, she did not want to stop and even ...

What a productive day today has been! Grace had spent the night at her friends so after we picked her up it was right to the grocery, although it is a chore getting through with 3 crabby kids if it is done early it is so much better then sitting around dreading to go. After the grocery is the harder part of putting it away, and purging all the stuff from the week before that wasn't used (so annoying). I volunteered on Friday at the food bank which made me feel more guilty about the amount of food we throw away. it is awful. I was able to work on a few more projects this afternoon which made me happy, it is good to accomplish things that you want to get completed. Here is one more card i finished with the Jenni Bowlin cards, I really like this one with my pal Joel on it. I played with the glitter mist today and boy was it fun. I was able to take the boring old frames that i had the kids pictures in and make them look great! I just glitter misted the mats and then added ribbon around...

This is what i didi with the PSE elements pic i made, nothing too special These are the Jenni Bowlin tags from 2 years ago i have never finished just a layout of the first day we dropped off Grace at Preschool. Wyatt was happy to see her go :( ok this one really doesn't count because i didi the layout years ago and just added the pics this weekend. Not happy with my picture arranging. So I was productive a little bit. I am going to work on one more fun thing tomorrow I am excited about. I will post if it turns out well Oh and one more shot, just cause how cute is this baby who fell asleep in the grocery cart.
