Instragram Prints

Everyone knows Instagram I am guessing, I printed all the pictures I had taken so far in 2012 about 4-5 months ago at Persnickety Prints . They do a great job and you can pick what size you want your perfect little Instagram pictures. I finally arranged my pictures on an old window frame using twine and some old Heidi Grace pins I had from way back. I love the way it turned out. I am not sold on where I have it hanging, I think I am going to move it upstairs, but for now I am just happy I have actually completed something! the first pic I used the flash so it shows the right color but the second one is no flash so there is no glare so you can see the pics.  Love it! Happy day after Thanksgiving!!

I'm so tired...

A long time ago, Vuke & I, well all of our little gang, used to watch an old Little Rascles episode and the gang was comparing who was more tired. It went a little something like this: "I'm so tired" "I'm 10 times more tired than you tired" "I'm so tired..." That is how I feel these days. It will be refreshing to have a few days home to reflect on what I am grateful for & get back on track.

SANDY...we survived our first hurricane

Thankfully we did not have it as bad as many others, but I am happy to say the rain has passed. Who knew we would have a hurricane here in Northeast Ohio! Monday evening it started to get pretty bad on the way home and by 11pm the schools were all closed due to power outages and flooding, trees and debris all over our little city. Thankfully we never lost power, but that was not the luck for a bunch of our friends. Finally today it seems the remains of Sandy have passed by. The kids went back to school, but many systems have not, and about 4pm I saw the first clips of the sun in well over 7 days. The kids ventured across the street to one not so  flooded area to ride their bikes, they really needed to get out of the house. I am not a bad mom, there were tons of really heavy current I did not allow my kids to play in. The one good thing was school was canceled on Halloween, why is this good, well because bad Mom waited until the last minute to get the boy his cost...

I started on the greatest adventure of my life and it has been amazing. I was worried I would suck at it, and I am not the best at it that is for sure, but it is something that I work hard at and try to refine my skills all the time. I learn from my mistakes and I know I have and will continue to make mistakes, but because of that I become better at it. I am so very lucky to be on this adventure and so very lucky to have my little people guiding me along the way. 10 years ago today I became a mom, to this girl. Now I realize every mom thinks their kid is great, but really I wonder each day how the heck this child is mine. She is SO not me: she gets straight A's she is smart she is so laid back she is calm she moves at her own speed...slow she lets just about everything just roll off her back but she IS mine because: she is sassy to me she always has to get the last word in she loves to read she is goofy she is sarcastic I asked Grace today to describe her perfec...

Great Fall Day

The kids were off school today, and I loved it! I took off work to spend some quality time with the oldest two & I loved it. We had fun, we went to the bookstore & bought books for each of them, did a little more shopping & had a great lunch! What a great day with m oldest 2! I also have great friends! It is supposed to drop to 37 tonight, I am not a big fan of that, but I am a big fan of sitting in the hot tub on a beautiful fall night. We cold hear the band from the football game, that made it a super fall night! Have a great Friday night, mine was awesome!

The boy is 8!

Eight years ago this boy entered my life and took over my heart! Maybe because he is my only boy, maybe because he knows all the right words to shmooze yes that is a made up word me, it could be his sweet smile, or the way he snuggles perfectly but he makes up my little gang perfectly. blog your heart

I have followed Stephanie's blog for a couple of years now. I came upon the blog for page layouts/projects but over the years have found myself laughing at many similarities of having four children, especially a girl who swallows a penny! Many times when I am sitting at the computer going through my blog roll, Wyatt will ask me to show him those cute babies,. He is referring to her sweet little twins, they are darn cute! I decided to jump on her bandwagon with blog your heart, these are just random samplings of what is going through my head lately...enjoy 1. blog whatever is authentic. whatever is truly on your mind and in your heart. 2. it can be serious, silly, short, long. note:no one said it  has  to be serious. but it should be authentic. 3. no judging allowed no snarky comments, no making fun, no passive agressive digs.if you are going to read the blogs linked, don't be mean. nothing here is whining. it's me honestly sharing my feelings. if you feel that it...
